Legitimately one of the best dive bars in a 20 minute radius from Downingtown. Brian is the best, but every single bartender is absolutely amazing and deserves all of the credit they get. Can't wait for them to serve hot food next year!

If you like dive bars this is the place for you. I mean that in a good way, too. I'm well past my bar phase but some friends and I went out for my birthday a few years ago. I had never been here before despite growing up in the area and spending lots of time in town. I can't personally comment on the food (honestly I don't know they even serve food). The bartenders were really friendly and quick to notice when we were ready for another drink, even gave me a free one for it being my birthday (I had just turned 35 and was pretty surprised when they gave me a whole glass of bourbon rather than just a shot). We went on a Saturday night around 8 and it started getting loud and cramped quickly after we got our second round of drinks but overall it was a cool little spot.
Old school bar, nice dive feel. Low lighting, 4 tvs, slot game. Smoking allowed and the beer is decently priced, and beer to go. Love it Oh yeah and a juke box. Staff is great and they offer simple yet good bar food!
Nate is an amazing guy serving with acute good patience. Nate’s attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly made my experience memorable. The cocktail Nate recommended was outstanding, and I appreciate the care you took in crafting it. Nate’s ability to manage the bar efficiently while engaging with customers is impressive. Thank you for making my it enjoyable. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Chelsea's Tavern has everything you would want out of a local town bar. Tv's for games, great bourbon/whiskey/beer selections, great staff and people. Great place to escape for a few hours and converse (or not).
